Frequently asked questions

Which areas of Arizona do you serve?

Arizona Potty Direct focuses on rentals throughout Arizona, including the Phoenix metro area, Tucson, Pinal County, northern Arizona and the western and southwestern parts of the state. Coverage for a specific address is confirmed when you call. See our service areas.

How do I get a quote?

Call us. Have your city or ZIP, the dates, the unit types you are interested in, how many people will use them and any access notes ready, and we will talk through a quote based on those details. See what to have ready on the quote page.

Do you publish prices?

No. Rental cost depends on unit type, quantity, duration, servicing, location and access, so we quote each job individually. Our cost guide explains what influences the number.

How far in advance should I book?

Book as soon as you know your date, especially for weekends between October and April when festivals, spring training and weddings crowd the calendar. For short-notice needs, call and we will tell you what is possible.

What do I need to prepare before delivery?

Choose a firm, level spot with a clear path, share any gate codes or access notes and make sure someone can be reached on delivery day. See delivery and pickup.

How many porta potties will I need?

It depends on peak headcount, duration, alcohol service and meals. Try our calculator and the unit-count guide, then we will review your numbers with you.

Do you offer ADA-accessible units?

Accessible units are part of our service lineup, subject to availability on your date. Surface and route matter as much as the unit, so see ADA-accessible rentals and the planning guide.

Can I rent for a long project?

Yes. Long-term rentals with recurring servicing are common for construction and agriculture. See long-term rentals.

Does the toilet need water or electricity?

Standard portable toilets do not. Deluxe units, handwashing stations and restroom trailers may have water or power considerations, which we explain when you call.

Who do I call about a problem during the rental?

Use the phone number on this site and describe the issue and the location. We will help you work out the next step.

Do I need a permit?

Some cities, counties, land managers and venues require permits or restroom plans for events and certain job sites. Check with your local authority, the managing agency or the venue. We can supply details about the units you are renting if needed.

What happens in monsoon season or extreme heat?

Both affect planning. Avoid washes and low spots, choose firm ground and use shade where possible. See our summer tips.

Can I rent units for a tailgate or stadium-area event?

Yes, tailgates and fan gatherings are a common use of event rentals. Confirm with the lot owner that units may be placed, then see the tailgate planning guide and call to discuss timing.

Can units be delivered to remote desert or trailhead sites?

Often, depending on road access and the land manager's rules. Describe the last stretch of road and send a map pin when you call. The trailhead and off-road guide lists what to prepare.
